*Description*
This role focuses on ensuring adherence to both domestic and international regulations for military technology and materials. Key responsibilities include: * Researching and verifying regulatory requirements to ensure compliance with relevant rules. * Advising and supporting the business on import and export compliance issues. * Conducting and validating export classifications for various products and technologies. * Submitting classification ruling requests to authorities such as DDTC, BIS, and CBP. * Staying updated with regulatory changes and advising management on trade-related matters. * Preparing, auditing, and submitting Post Summary Corrections and Duty Drawback import records. * Developing compliance training programs to address regulatory gaps. * Drafting and submitting licenses and agreements to regulatory authorities. *Skills* Compliance, Risk management, ITAR *Additional Skills & Qualifications* Minimum of 2-5+ years of practical experience in Compliance In-depth knowledge of ITAR, EAR, CBP, and other applicable US Import/Export regulations. Strong knowledge of navigating various regulatory requirements and agencies such as FDA, CPSC, CE, FCC, etc. Strong research and analytical skills, with the ability to collect, analyze, and resolve issues in a timely manner. Experience using Descartes Visual Compliance or similar software. Relevant Trade Compliance or Regulatory Affairs certifications.
