Digital Communications Manager MED-CORE-ADMIN-CHAIR Full Time 84268BR Job Summary The Department of Medicine (DOM) seeks an innovative Digital Communications Manager to advance our mission through dynamic support of our communication initiatives, including the development and enhancement of our websites and newsletters. This pivotal role reports to the DOM Associate Chair for Administration and collaborates extensively with various stakeholders and units, aligning with UCSF's established communication frameworks to deliver concise, engaging, and user-centric information. The role demands proficiency in developing cutting-edge digital content and adeptness in both content strategy and project management. The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy. Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement. The salary range for this position is $91,700 - $137,600 (Annual Rate). The mission of the Department includes research, teaching, patient care, and public service. The DOM has an annual budget of ~$650M across three sites with ~3,000 employees. The DOM comprises 24% of all UCSF faculty, 29% of the SOM's faculty, and 19% of the SOM budget. For the past 30 years, the DOM has consistently ranked among the top four departments of medicine in the country, and in the last several years, the department has been the number one recipient of NIH research dollars. The DOM has 17 ACGME and 15 non-ACGME fellowship programs, and its internal medicine residency has consistently been ranked as one of the top programs in the country. Required Qualifications
