IT Systems Support Technician

RK&K is actively seeking a full-time in office Support Analyst I to join the IT/Support team in our Richmond, VA office. This position will play a key role serving as a liaison between the Service Desk and Infrastructure teams.

Essential Function

• Serve as a liaison between the Service Desk and Infrastructure teams to ensure effective communication and coordination for problem management.
• Analyze recurring incidents, facilitate root cause analysis, and drive long-term resolution strategies to improve service reliability.
• Responsible for packaging, testing, and deploying applications using Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM) and Intune.
• Ensures accurate documentation, troubleshooting, and compliance with deployment standards to support seamless application delivery across the enterprise.
• Act as an escalation point for support technicians, providing advanced troubleshooting and guidance on complex technical issues
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve incidents efficiently and ensure high-quality support delivery
• Review, edit, and maintain knowledge base articles to ensure technical accuracy, clarity, and relevance
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to validate content and improve readability, ensuring resources meet user needs and support standards.
• Responsible for interoffice deployment and setup of computers, hardware, printers, software, ect.

Required Skills and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 10 years current experience supporting IT hardware, software, and systems for 1000+ users
• Familiar with help-desk related operations and software, able to take on and manage multiple tasks
• Demonstrated knowledge of Windows servers and desktop products
• Strong understanding of Microsoft Configuration Manager or related imaging, configuration tools
• Familiar with Microsoft Office 365 and related support issues
• Experience serving as an Administrator on a medium sized network of servers, desktop systems, and communications devices using current technologies
• Specialized certification and strongly recommended (MCSE, SEC+)
• Proven ability to perform continuous monitoring activities
• Technical writing ability to develop documentation for both end-users and internal IT staff guidance
• A passion for technology and using it to design creative business solutions
• Light travel to other offices on an as-needed basis
• Highly developed skills supporting remote workers
• Experience with Hyper-V environment and troubleshooting issues within Hyper-v
• Advance level troubleshooting skills

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Associates or Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Information Systems or related
