Job Title: Buyer/Fulfillment Specialist Job Description: Overview: The Fulfillment Supervisor manages the day-to-day relationships with suppliers and ensures that all Material Requirements Planning (MRP) parameters are confirmed and maintained. This role also involves overseeing safety stock levels and leading a fulfillment and buyer analysts' team to ensure efficient operations and fulfillment processes. Additionally, the Fulfillment Supervisor oversees communication between suppliers and the transportation team and follows up on daily deliveries to ensure uninterrupted production. Key Responsibilities: 1. Supplier Relationship Management: o Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to ensure quality and timely delivery of products. o Conduct regular meetings with suppliers to review performance, address issues, and drive continuous improvement. o Communicate supply chain needs and expectations effectively to suppliers. 2. MRP Management: o Confirm and maintain MRP parameters to ensure accurate inventory management. o Analyze and adjust inventory requirements based on demand forecasts and production schedules. o Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize the supply chain process. 3. Safety Stock Management: o Monitor and maintain appropriate safety stock levels to meet customer demand without overstocking. o Implement strategies to manage safety stock based on historical data and market trends. 4. Transportation follow-up: o Oversee communication between suppliers and the transportation team to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods. o Monitor and follow up on daily deliveries to identify and resolve any issues affecting production. 5. Process Improvement: o Identify opportunities for process optimization and cost reduction within the fulfillment function. o Implement best practices for inventory management and supplier engagement. 6. Reporting and Analysis: o Prepare and present reports on fulfillment metrics, supplier performance, and inventory levels to senior management. o Utilize data analysis to inform decision-making and drive improvements in fulfillment operations. Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Business Administration /related field or equivalent experience. * Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in supply chain, fulfillment, or procurement roles. * Strong knowledge of MRP systems, particularly SAP, and inventory management practices. * Experience with LeanDna or similar inventory optimization software. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Proven leadership abilities with experience managing teams. * Proficient in data analysis and reporting tools. Skills: * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. * Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. * Proficiency with supply chain management software, SAP, and Microsoft Office Suite. #LI-Onsite |
