Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Salesforce Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in developing and maintaining Salesforce solutions within a federal government environment, with a strong focus on the Salesforce Platform, especially one or more of the Service, Sales, Marketing or Experience Clouds. This role involves designing, developing, and implementing customized solutions.

Responsibilities



  • Solution Development: Design, develop, and implement customized Salesforce solutions, with a focus on Service, Sales, Marketing or Experience Clouds.
  • Maintenance: Maintain and enhance existing Salesforce applications to ensure optimal performance and usability.
  • Government Compliance: Ensure all solutions comply with relevant federal government regulations and standards, and work within the Salesforce Government Cloud platform.
  • Integration: Integrate Salesforce with other systems and applications, ensuring seamless data flow and functionality.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with product owners, stakeholders, and Scrum teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs.
  • Testing and Validation: Conduct unit testing and ensure solutions meet business requirements and quality standards.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all solutions and processes.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance Salesforce usage.


Required Skills and Experience



  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Salesforce Developer, with specific experience in Salesforce Service Cloud and federal government projects.
  • Certifications: Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I or Salesforce Certified Service Cloud Consultant.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and other Salesforce technologies.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
  • Security Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance.
  • Ability to work effectively remotely in cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and produce quality work.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite software including Outlook, Word, Excel, SharePoint, and PowerPoint.


Preferred Skills and Experience



  • Advanced Certifications: Additional Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce Certified Platform Developer II.
  • Government Experience: Proven track record of developing solutions within a federal government environment, including development of solutions in government-specific Salesforce clouds.
  • Project Management: Experience with Agile methodologies and project management tools.


Clearance Requirements

U.S. Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance.

Work Location: Charlotte, NC - Remote

Compensation

The salary range for this position is $100,000 - $132,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
