Pay

$21.75 - $22.85 / hour, depending on experience and qualifications
Plus $1.00 / hr shift premium for 2nd Shift hours

Schedule

2nd Shift (Sunday - Thursday, 2:20 PM - 10:30 PM)

Onsite; other days and hours as needed

Job Summary

McKee Foods is seeking a Production Worker to join our team. This position will report to the Production Supervisor. In this role, you'll play an important role on our high-speed production line ensuring the efficient and precise packaging of our snack cakes. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Assisting with the packaging and inspection of finished food products that may include:

• Packaging unwrapped snack cakes into individual wrapping
• Placing wrapped snack cakes into cartons
• Filling cases with cartons of snack cakes
• Arranging cases onto pallets for shipment, following specific stacking patterns

• Monitoring production processes to meet quality and productivity targets
• Collaborating with team members to maintain a smooth workflow and troubleshoot any issues that arise
• Following production schedules and meeting production quotas
• Following safety protocols and maintaining a clean and organized work area

Required Qualifications

• Overall good work record (which includes attendance, safety, job performance, flexibility, and team behaviors)
• Demonstrated ability to work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced production environment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining safety and quality standards
• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn production systems/software
• Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate with others
• Ability to learn new processes, procedures, and equipment
• Ability to lift 25-50 pounds on a regular basis, and occasionally move more than 100 pounds with assistance (with or without an accommodation)

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment
• Previous experience in food manufacturing or a related field
