IT Training Specialist (DoD OIG ITSS Contract)

LinTech Global Inc. is recruiting for an IT Training Specialist (DoD OIG ITSS Contract) to support our contract at DoD OIG ITSS in Alexandria, VA.

Position Overview:



  • We are seeking an IT Training Specialist to develop and deliver technical training programs for Department of Defense (DoD) personnel.
  • The ideal candidate will have experience in instructional design, training development, and delivery of IT-related courses, ensuring compliance with DoD policies and security requirements.



Job Duties:



  • Develop, update, and deliver IT training programs for end users, administrators, and technical staff.
  • Conduct instructor-led training (ILT), virtual training, and e-learning sessions.
  • Design course materials, training guides, and assessments using ADDIE, SAM, or other instructional design models.
  • Train DoD personnel on cybersecurity, network administration, software applications, and IT systems.
  • Ensure compliance with DoD training policies, including 8570/8140 certification requirements.
  • Assess learner performance and provide post-training support.
  • Collaborate with IT teams, government stakeholders, and instructional designers to tailor training to mission needs.
  • Maintain records of training, certifications, and evaluations.
  • Three years of experience in IT training, instructional design, or adult learning.
  • Ability to provide technical instruction in formal classroom and remote workshop settings to both technical and non-technical personnel.
  • Provide recommendations for areas of training and introduce new training methods based on industry standards and best practices.
  • Utilization of available technology such as VTC, virtual, and instructional videos to provide IT training.
  • Research and prepare IT training courses and curriculum based on OIG software, systems, processes, procedures, and mission needs.
  • Assist the OCIO PMO with creation, development, and implementation of training plans in support of IT projects.
  • Conduct post-training student surveys.
  • Strong knowledge of ITSM Processes and Procedures, SharePoint, ServiceNow, Microsoft Windows OS and the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Familiarity with DoD directives, including DoD 8570/8140.


Required Qualifications:



  • Education: Bachelor's degree in IT, Education, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Security Clearance: Active DoD Secret Clearance.
  • Certifications: CompTIA Security+, CEH, CISSP, or relevant IT/Training certifications.
