Schedule: FULLTIME; Monday-Friday, 10 a.m.-7 p.m. On call periodically.

Job overview:

Schneider is seeking a Senior Corporate Security Investigator in Green Bay to handle incidents and cargo thefts that are reported to the Security Services team through leading investigations, conducting interviews and documenting details. The Senior Corporate Security Investigator will also train and guide less experienced members of the Security Services Team on how to mitigate incidents.

Responsibilities:
  • Investigate and resolve incidents, including threats, suspicious activities and fire alarm occurrences.
  • Coordinate and conduct interviews with victims, witnesses and persons of interest, utilizing established interviewing techniques.
  • Engage local police and private security agencies to assist with investigations as needed.
  • Work through investigations while engaging internal teams, including Security Services leaders and Legal and Human Resources associates.
  • Create and maintain investigative processes.
  • Coordinates the following protocols: cargo securement, be on the lookout (BOLO), threat assessment and security site assessments.
  • Act as a liaison between Loss Prevention, Security Services and Cargo Claims to identify trends amongst investigations.
  • Assist with the development of security-related training programs.
  • Conduct emergency procedures trainings.

Skills and qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 3 years' experience in a security position, law enforcement or position requiring investigations, application of judgment in sensitive or ambiguous situations, or addressing people-related issues.
  • Experience working in a corporate environment.
  • Advanced training in interviewing and interrogating.
  • Knowledge of CCTV video view and preservation is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Able to take action and respond quickly to emergencies.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
