IT Network Specialist

Cognizant is seeking an IT Network Specialist for a remote full-time opportunity. The candidate can be located anywhere in the US.

The salary range for this role is between $134,000 to $154,000 depending on experience and qualifications of the candidate. All applicants must have valid work authorization.

Responsibilities:

Perform Firewall OS upgrades and rule optimization
Perform OS upgrades of PAN firewalls
Perform Troubleshooting as required
Review of firewall rulesets to remove unused objects
Review firewall rules to implement best practices
New process onboarding
Provide ideas on where to eliminate repetitive work

Qualifications:

* Experience with Palo Alto Networks Firewall, F5 ADC.

* Minimum 2 years of IT operations experience with focus on network security.

* CISSP certification, Palo Alto Networks or F5 Certifications preferred.

* BS Degree or equivalent.
