Consumers Credit Union (CCU) is adding a new Data Analyst to the Business Intelligence team! This is a great opportunity for an experienced Data Analyst who wants to work for a fast-growing, certified Great Place to Work financial institution!

As a Data Analyst, you will collect, process, and analyze large datasets to uncover trends, patterns, and insights that support business decision making. Also, you will use statistical tools and software to interpret complex data and present actionable recommendations to stakeholders.

Schedule/Location:



  • This position offers a hybrid work schedule where some of your work week will be onsite at our modern and amenities driven Lake Forest office location and the rest will be spent working remotely.
  • Local Northern IL/Southeast WI candidates only!


Main duties and responsibilities:



  • Perform data analysis accurately and timely using statistical techniques and data mining methods to identify trends and correlations for business units.
  • Interpret and present data findings to key stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
  • Build and manage data models, metrics, documents, templates, reports, and dashboards to understand daily operations and drive key business decisions.
  • Design, develop custom dashboards, and reports to track key metrics. Automate and streamline reporting processes to ensure timely delivery of insights to stakeholders.
  • Ensure all data is compliant with regulatory requirements maintaining data integrity and accuracy across multiple systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements, product performance, and strategic goals to provide valuable insights, and analytical support. Stay informed about industry shifts and analyze their impact on existing organizational strategies.


Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree in Analytics, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, Business or related - Minimum
  • 4+ years' experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, or related (in a preferred financial institution)
  • Basic technical knowledge. Experience with data visualization tools, programming languages, SQL, and Microsoft applications desired.
  • High problem-solving abilities, self-starter, and drive for willingness to learn.
  • Strong written and verbal skills to communicate with cross-functional colleagues and vendors.
  • Time management and organizational skills - must have the ability and drive to meet deadlines
  • Availability to work 40+ hours/week and be scheduled between the following hours: Monday-Friday: 8am-5pm


Compensation & Benefits:

Budgeted amount for starting salary: $86,000 annually + annual bonus opportunity

You will be eligible to participate in the 401(k) savings plan at any time. You will be automatically enrolled in the pension plan following six months of employment and 1,000 hours of service and reaching age 20.
