  • Starting salary based upon skills and experience: $177,000 - $220,000 plus robust benefits package


Responsibilities

  • Engineering Leadership & Strategy - Define and execute the software engineering strategy, driving adoption of modern development practices, including microservices, cloud-native architectures, API-first design, and AI-driven automation. Establish engineering excellence by implementing best practices in CI/CD, DevSecOps, automated testing, and observability.
  • Product & Platform Development -Lead the development of scalable, resilient, and secure applications that drive platform modernization to cloud-native and API-drive architectures that enhance member experiences and drive operational efficiency through seamless system integration and interoperability between applications, data platforms, and third-party services.
  • Technology & Innovation - Stay ahead of emerging technologies (AI/ML, serverless, edge computing) and champion data-driven decision making to build developer-friendly platforms that enhance productivity, security, and performance.
  • Team Leadership & Talent Development - Build, mentor, and lead high-performing software engineering teams, fostering a culture of innovation, agility, and continuous learning.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
  • 12 years of experience in one or more major information processing functions (operations, development, etc.), with 5 years of experience managing application functions
  • Experience with RPA, API, and other data integration tools
  • Experience with modern software development and code repository tools, such as GitHub
  • Strong understanding of cloud platforms (Azure), modern programming languages and frameworks (.NET, Python, etc.) and DevOps practices
  • Familiarity with AI, machine learning, and data-driven software engineering approaches
  • Proven track record of building and scaling software engineering teams in product-driven organizations
  • Strong leadership and communication, with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization and external parties
  • Works well under pressure, adaptable to change, and can manage multiple projects simultaneously and complete timely
