Summary

We are seeking a proactive IT Technician to support our IT operations. In this role you will manage Microsoft 365 cloud services, assist with network and systems management, and provide user support in a Windows environment.

Essential Functions

• System Administration: Assist in managing and troubleshooting system and network configurations.
• Cloud & Collaboration Services: Support the maintenance and administration of our Microsoft 365 environment.
• Help Desk Support: Provide timely technical support to end users for software, hardware, and network issues.
• IT Initiatives: Contribute to various IT improvement projects and ad-hoc tasks that enhance operational efficiency.

Supervision Received: The position reports directly to the IT Security Administrator.

Supervisory Responsibilities: None

Competency or position requirements

• Experience: A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience supporting Windows environments, including networking, Microsoft 365 & Intune management, and help desk operations.

SKILLS & ABILITIES

Education: High school diploma/GED required

Certifications: Foundational certifications such as CompTIA Network+ and CompTIA Security+ are preferred.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in troubleshooting workstation hardware, Windows OS, mobile devices, MFA, desk phones, printers/scanners, Microsoft 365 environments (SharePoint, OneDrive, Exchange Online, Entra, Conditional Access, Intune, etc.) DNS/DHCP, and network infrastructure including R&S and AP's.

• Familiarity with firewall configuration & management and basic security best practices. Azure experience is a plus.
• Problem-Solving: Ability to diagnose technical issues and implement effective solutions.
• Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to facilitate collaboration and provide effective end-user support.
