We're Coming Back Together To Be Together 100% In Office & Onsite Summary: The Research Services Laboratory Technician will be responsible for performing the technical service needs of Vulcan Materials' National Research Laboratory. This includes concrete trial batching and testing in both the laboratory and the field. The Technician will also be responsible for performing the maintenance duties of the National Research Laboratory in San Jose, CA. The Technician should already have or put in the effort during employment to obtain a basic understanding of concrete constituents, chemical admixtures, concrete ready mix operations, customer service skills, and note-taking skills for data collection. This position requires both work at a computer and a hands-on, team-based approach. The Technician must work outdoors at times in adverse weather conditions, including extreme hot and cold temperatures. They will periodically collect samples of 200-500 lb of material at the plant by hand shoveling or other mechanical means. The Technician will report directly to the National Research Laboratory Manager and may have task delegated from the National Research Lab Lead Technician. Duties/Responsibilities:

Salary Range: the base salary range for this role is between $45,000 to $70,000 annual salary. This range is not inclusive of our discretionary bonus or equity package. When determining a candidate's compensation, we consider a number of factors, including skillset, experience, job scope, and current market data.
