Job Purpose:

Plans and directs the activities related to the incoming inspection functions in a manner which meets company standards and methods as determined by quality assurance or other engineering departments. Manages the activities of the team and is responsible for staffing decisions, training and development,and performance management of the staff.Outlines and implements training procedures of employees for the inspection operation including drawings, prints, schematics and quality assurance standards. The Receipt Inspection supervisor is responsible for timely execution of inspection

operations by maintaining daily records and reports. Supervisor will prioritize schedules based on product introduction and manufacturing schedules, maintaining a minimum turnaround time. Supervisor Is responsible for the coordination of the disposition of rejected materials and will make recommendations for capital expenditures and manpower for inspection area.

Nature of Duties/Responsibilities:

Supervise Incoming quality inspection work cell and manage training, performance reviews, and career development of inspection team. Develop metrics and procedures and execute them based on company goals. Be responsible for cooperation between receiving and inspection work cell to resolve

challenges on daily basis. Coordinate with Supplier Quality Engineering function to identify and resolve non-conforming process. Drive MRB turnaround time for incoming defects to meet quality metrics. Achieving safety, quality, and financial objectives by developing associates and monitoring adherence to

procedures while motivating employees. Plan staffing and schedules to accommodate receiving deadlines and seasonal demand. Establishing processes and monitoring daily goals for accuracy and efficiency. Optimize productivity and space utilization with efficient processes and layouts. Promote overall facility cleanliness and safety awareness. Maintain a safe work environment where accidents are prevented.

Education and Experience:



  • Minimum 3-4 years of supervisory experience in a fast-paced and dynamic shipping fulfillment environment. Must be able to provide systematic supervision in a very fast-paced environment
  • 1-2 years of quality inspection experience
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office. Extensive spreadsheet knowledge. MRP experience, preferably Intuitive ERP and WMS.
  • Oracle/Agile experience is preferred
  • Track record of leading and implementing process improvement initiatives
  • A successfully proven mentor with extensive experience in developing and growing high-Performing teams in a rapidly changing environment
  • Passionate about driving productivity through digital transformation, continuous improvements, Cost efficiencies, and delivering world-class quality to our customers
  • Highly collaborative by nature; transparent and open-minded while maintaining a united and supportive work environment
  • A hands-on influencer with an ability to bring awareness of complex issues and drive and deliver results and consensus
  • Successful with proven results in establishing and maintaining key performance metrics and dashboards
  • Solid background in ISO processes and procedures
  • 2+ years experience in 5S lean warehouse environment
  • Excellent time management skills to manage fast-paced communication

Salary Range(annual): $70,000 - $85,000 . Actual base pay within this range (determined at the offer stage) will be based on a candidate's years of relevant work experience, education, certifications, and skills, and is just one element of our total rewards package. The total rewards package also includes a variety of benefits, including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business and, depending on the role, may include eligibility for restricted stock unit awards and participation in a discretionary bonus program.
