Field Service Technician

3rd Shift: 10:00 PM - 6:30 AM

Pay: $25.00/hr - $32.00/hr

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Training in maintenance and repair operations
• Safety certification
• Solid understanding of basic mechanics
• At least 1 year of experience in diesel engine or electrical repairs
• Proficiency with computers and office equipment
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office is necessary

Job Duties:

• Fueling, sanding, and conducting daily inspections of locomotives
• Performing preventive maintenance according to established schedules
• Cleaning oils, filling tanks, and adjusting equipment to ensure smooth operations
• Completing basic repairs on equipment and machines
• Troubleshooting and repairing diesel engines, electrical systems, and air brake systems
• Conducting field service work, requiring travel to various locations in and around Houston, Texas
• Using company vehicles to perform maintenance duties
• Conducting regular visual inspections of maintenance equipment, including company vehicles
• Completing all maintenance functions by established procedures, policies, and safety regulations
