The Dietrich College of Humanities and Social Sciences at Carnegie Mellon University is seeking a dynamic, highly motivated collaborator and program builder to join our academic advising team. The successful hire will be responsible for providing holistic academic advising to students pursuing a major or minor in the History Department and helping to implement strategic initiatives related to the humanities at Carnegie Mellon, including raising the profile of Dietrich College's humanities programs, building a community of humanities students, faculty, and staff, and increasing the sense of belonging among students studying the humanities throughout Dietrich College. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a fast-paced, collaborative team setting. The position will report directly to Dietrich College's Director of Advising and will collaborate closely with faculty and staff in the History Department. The role will also partner with advisors and faculty in the other humanities departments as well as the first year advising team and other campus partners to develop opportunities that will help humanities students thrive at CMU.
