Position Summary

The Clinical Simulation Center Coordinator of the Joan K Stout Clinical Simulation Learning Center (CSLC) is responsible for coordinating clinical simulation activities and technology for both graduate and undergraduate nursing programs at Meyers. Reporting to the Simulation Manager, the Coordinator ensures the efficient and effective use of resources, including simulation technology and current best practices in simulation education. Provides support to faculty and students, oversees standardized patient training and scheduling, and maintains a safe, high-functioning learning environment. Committed to operational excellence and aims to foster a culture of safety, professionalism, and collaboration within the Simulation Center team and across the nursing programs. Working in concert with the Director, Assistant Director, Manager, and faculty, assists in the delivery of immersive simulation experiences and the integration of simulation technology to align with educational objectives for learners. Coordinates the implementation of appropriate simulation technology solutions to optimize the use of the Simulation Center.


Qualifications

Required Education:
Bachelor's Degree

Preferred Education:
Master's Degree

Required Experience:
2+ years relevant experience or an equivalent combination. Must include experience coordinating clinical simulation operations and integrating simulation technology and other clinical activities. Experience applying best practices in education simulation learning.

Preferred Experience:
Experience in operational planning and project management.

Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Excellent interpersonal, analytical, and problem solving skills. Ability to work collaboratively, effectively communicate, develop, implement and interpret policies and procedures.


Additional Information

In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is USD $70,200.00 to USD $85,800.00. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and organizational considerations when extending an offer. This pay range represents base pay only and excludes any additional items such as incentives, bonuses, clinical compensation, or other items.
