FORKLIFT OPERATOR (SHIPPING) - CORRIGAN PLYWOOD - DIBOLL WAREHOUSE
Starting rate for this role is $25.00. Shift: Days Our Team Georgia-Pacific is now hiring for a Shipping Forklift Operator for our product warehouse in Diboll, Texas. This position is responsible for moving material in the warehouse and loading trucks. A strong commitment to safety standards and knowledge of forklift operations are important for success in this role. Basic Qualifications * At least 2 years of Shipping/Receiving or Warehouse Management experience with 1 year of hands-on forklift experience * Experience using Microsoft Office programs such as Word, Excel (for use of spreadsheets, reporting, simple formulas) and Outlook What Will Put You Ahead * Experience operating a propane forklift with the ability to load 7500 lbs. onto flatbeds * Inventory reporting and management experience * Experience in a wood products manufacturing environment What You Will Do * Operate equipment to defined standards and product specification targets * Plan and direct all shipping (daily) while ensuring accuracy of shipping documents. * Ensure incoming items/materials are unloaded based upon schedule and in a timely manner * Adhere to all plant safety and environmental guidelines, policies, and procedures * Work collaboratively with other team members * Conduct required quality checks on products to ensure customer satisfaction * Complete appropriate reporting at the end of each day * Report to the shipping department at the Corrigan Plywood Mill as needed Other Considerations * Available to work a Monday through Friday, day shift position with availability to work weekends and holidays as needed * Work in a manufacturing plant environment, including extended periods of time in noisy, dusty, non-air conditioned or unheated areas At Koch companies, we are entrepreneurs.
