The Garden Bar & Restaurant, located in the Hilton Garden Inn in Lake Oswego, is looking for a Bartender to join our team! We are dedicated to bringing a thoughtfully constructed and vibrant cocktail program to the suburbs. We focus on fresh, house-made ingredients and have a broad selection of allocated spirits on our back bar. As our program is constantly evolving, we are looking for a candidate who is driven to learn and grow in the industry as partner with local and national brands to provide educational opportunities for our team. Job Overview: Our ideal candidate has: 2+ years in a cocktail focused bar/restaurant Relevant certifications i.e. BarSmarts, Level 1 Sommelier, WSET2(wine or spirits) A strong base knowledge of classic cocktails and spirits A passion for hospitality A curiosity for the wonderful world of beverage Benefits:
Responsibilities and Duties: *Maintains proper and adequate set-up of the bar daily. This includes requisitioning and stocking of all beer, wine, spirits, paper products, straws and stirrers, condiments and produce based on projections from the daily functions sheet Specific Job Knowledge and Skills: The individual must possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities and be able to explain and demonstrate that he or she can perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation.
