Security Officer - Residential Patrol

As a Security Officer - Residential Patrol in San Jose, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential and more .

As a Patrol Officer in a residential setting, you will be responsible for monitoring and patrolling designated areas, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. Your role involves engaging with residents and visitors, providing exceptional customer service, and utilizing your communication skills to address any concerns. While this is an unarmed position, having a Guard Card or license is preferred, along with CPR/First Aid certification. Pay Rate: $22.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Responsibilities:

Provide customer service by implementing security procedures and site-specific policies, and participate in emergency response activities when necessary.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations with a calm and problem-solving approach.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the residential location and its perimeter, adapting to varying working environments and conditions.

Minimum Requirements:

• Applicants must have at least 1 year of security experience.
• CA Security Professional Guard Card is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
