We are looking for a Senior Marketing and Communications Manager to join our team. This role requires a strategic thinker and exceptional writer who can craft compelling narratives for a variety of audiences-ranging from internal communications to external corporate messaging, case studies, thought leadership, and social media.

A strong background in science and experience in the CRO or life sciences industry is essential, as this role will play a key part in developing strategy and content that highlights our expertise in clinical research, with a particular focus on immunology. In addition to writing and content development, this person will help drive awareness and differentiation through marketing strategy and execution.

Responsibilities

    Develop and execute compelling content across multiple platforms, including internal communications, corporate announcements, marketing materials, social media, website, and case studies
  • Lead content strategy and development for Rho's immunology focus area, working with subject matter experts to translate complex science into engaging, accessible messaging
  • Support internal communication efforts by crafting messages that align with company objectives and reinforce our culture and business priorities
  • Collaborate with marketing leadership and agency partners to develop strategic content that enhances brand awareness, thought leadership, and audience engagement
  • Ensure consistency in messaging, tone, and voice across all communication channels
  • Assist in the development of marketing campaigns, working on messaging, content strategy, and execution
  • Work cross-functionally with leadership, employee experience, and business development teams to understand communication needs and develop effective materials
  • Contribute to content planning and editorial calendars to ensure timely and strategic messaging
  • Maintain a structured cadence to reinforce key messages across the organization


Qualifications

  • Strong writing and editing skills with the ability to adapt tone and style for different audiences and formats
  • Background in science, with experience in the CRO, life sciences, or pharma and biotech industry
  • Ability to translate complex scientific concepts into clear, compelling narratives
  • Experience developing content across a range of marketing and communications disciplines, including internal messaging, thought leadership, and external marketing
  • Ability to synthesize complex information and craft clear, engaging stories that resonate with industry professionals and non-scientific audiences alike
  • Knowledge of marketing principles, brand positioning, and audience engagement strategies
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment with multiple stakeholders
  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with executional excellence
  • Eagerness to grow marketing expertise and contribute beyond content development
