This position offers a hybrid work option (up to 50% remote) and is based out of the MN-Lakeville; MN-Mankato; MN-Waite Park locations however may be open to any Compeer office locations. The contributions you will make: This position works with the Insurance team to provide support for ensuring a comprehensive quality assurance/compliance review program that maintains compliance and consistent application of, federal and state insurance rules, regulations, policies and procedures and insurance carrier (AIP) underwriting rules. A typical day: Quality Control and Compliance
- Reviews documents to ensure compliance, completion, and guidelines are met prior to delivering to the client:
- Resulting documents
- Claim check verification
- Insurance client or prospect documents
- Reviews documents submitted from agents for accuracy and quality ensuring they are Risk Management Agency (RMA), Approved Insurance Provider (AIP) and Compeer compliant.
- Conducts seasonal file reviews on all product lines to ensure compliance and appropriate levels of quality with the underwriting process and that they are up-to-date and accurate. Drafts, tracks and shares findings with Insurance Leadership to determine corrective actions.
- Collaborates with Quality Review Coordinator team to perform annual audits on 3% of client insurance files.
- Ensures adherence to the agency's record retention program, consistent with federal and state insurance laws and AIP contracts.
- Documents and grades all issues and deficiencies to identify trends.
- Provides recommendations regarding internal, AIP & RMA procedures, guidelines and rules while monitoring and maintaining compliance with insurance regulations and Compeer policies and procedures.
- Assists with RMA and AIP Audit needs.
- Verifies the operations teams pre-keyed documents for accuracy.
- Maintains relationships with AIP quality control/compliance team members to understand and promote AIP/RMA quality control/data mining efforts, understand and promote AIP/RMA system enhancements to promote efficiencies while maximizing compliance rules, regulations, policies and procedures.
Insurance Sales Support
- Serves as the liaison between the Insurance Sales and Core Insurance Operations team to ensure guidelines, processes and deadlines are being met.
- Serves as the lead and liaison between the Insurance Sales team and Underwriters for the Insurance Company on approval for revisions, corrections and other requests.
- Collaborates with IO and ICR on Return to Officer que in OnBase workflow.
- Assists with AIP reporting to ensure client policy compliance.
- Assists other departments as needed to meet the needs of the organization.
- Works with team leaders and Insurance Development to create additional training resources.
Data Entry
- Enters information accurately into the AIP (Approved Insurance Provider) systems (applications, acreage reports and production reports) prior to each deadline.
- Provides resulting documents for agent review and distribution to client as needed
- Approves pre-keyed source documents to sales team prior to client approval.
Product and Industry Knowledge
- Maintains a comprehensive understanding of crop insurance products available through Compeer Financial and all related RMA regulations.
- Remains current on product details and program changes.
- Maintains expertise to assist with all product lines and resources; Crop Insurance Handbook; General Standards Handbook; Actuarial and RMA procedures and guidelines.
- Collaborates with the Insurance Development Team to share knowledge, expertise and identify training gaps.
Client Service
- Assists the Crop Insurance Sales Team with questions regarding policies via phone, email and jabber.
- Assists Crop Insurance Sales Team with Compeer crop insurance internal processes, procedures.
- Uses Service Now to facilitate Crop Insurance Sales Team questions.
- Collaborate with Core Operations Team to ensure client needs are met
The skills and experience we prefer you have:
- Associate's degree in business administration, agriculture or other related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience to perform the essential functions of the job.
- Proficient experience in the Crop Insurance field.
- Willing to obtain an Insurance License
- Strong listening, written and verbal communication skills, with ability to communicate at all levels of the organization.
- High degree of accuracy, attention to detail, organizational and time management skills.

The actual title and base pay offered is dependent upon many factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role is eligible for variable compensation and other benefits.
Base Pay $56,400 - $80,200 USD
