Pay / Schedule:
$25.00/hr. schedule Monday - Friday 8 am - 5:00 pm + great opportunity for OT pay. At 50 hours per week, earn weekly paychecks of $1,375 gross.
Description/Comment:Under general direction, packages assembled products, coordinates material flow, performs kitting and simple reconfiguration of products, generates tags and labels for products, inspects product paint quality, and performs defined material handling function. The job is a Safety-Sensitive Position. Secure items from stock to fill shipping orders, assembly orders, and shop work orders. Deliver to appropriate location. Package and prepare material for shelf storage or shipments. Maintain warehouse shelves and racks; rotate stock where necessary. Operate forklift as necessary to unload or load incoming or outgoing freight, stack pallets and containers of material. Unload paint line as required. Maintain bar stock racks. Perform kitting (bagging/boxing) of loose assemblies. Load and unload wash tank. Keep all shelves, racks, pallets and containers properly labeled with part numbers of material stored on or within them. Inform production control of any stock outs. Observe all safety procedures and policies. Perform other duties as assigned. High school diploma or GED preferred KEY COMPETENCIES: Communication - good communication skills. Comprehension - able to comprehend and remember a variety of items in detail; to follow oral and written instructions. Initiative - perform tasks with minimal supervision. Physical - able to perform moderately heavy physical work. Safety - ability to safely operate material handling equipment and observe safe work practices. Teamwork - cooperate and work well with co-workers. Knowledge of forklift operation and basic warehouse skills. Understanding of work order system and job packets. Previous experience in a fast-paced distribution environment is a plus. SAP experience is a plus. | |
