General Summary

The Project Manager is responsible for planning, budgeting, overseeing and documenting all aspects of any specifically assigned project.

Essential Job Functions



  • Maintains a safe, secure and healthy environment by adhering to Company/Customer safety standards and practices and to legal regulations, alerting others regarding potential hazards or concern


  • Performs all duties as assigned and adheres to TEAM's Core Values


  • Develops standard capabilities requirements aligned with project attributes


  • Evaluates personnel against set project requirements


  • Assists in sales presentations for project management capabilities


  • Monitors the effectiveness of the project management process


  • Ensures compliance with the project management process


  • Participates in readiness review and lessons learned


  • Manages the project gating process


  • Assists Project Superintendents as necessary


  • Provides training to Project Superintendents and other project related field personnel


  • Responsible for successful performance of individual projects


  • Develops resource requirements for projects


  • Assists in development of estimates and proposals


  • Identifies scope deviations for creation of change orders


  • Identifies delays at a project level


  • Ensures timesheets and job sheets are properly completed, approved and submitted


  • Provides leadership at a project level


  • Evaluates project performance of personnel


  • Maintains strong customer relationship


  • Ensures contract compliance


  • Monitors cost and schedule against budget and baseline


  • Ensures equipment is maintained while on the project


  • Ensures personnel are properly trained and certified to perform the tasks they are assigned



Job Qualifications



  • High school diploma or equivalent required


  • Bachelor's Degree in Science, Engineering, Technology, or related majors preferred


  • 8 to 10 years of Industry Experience Leading Projects


  • Project Management Professional (PMP) preferred


  • Extensive experience with Microsoft Office Products


  • Experience with Primavera and Microsoft AX preferred



Work Conditions



  • Position is based out of a District or site location


  • Field duties require indoor and outdoor work in a plant atmosphere


  • Interaction with other crew employees, as well as supervisors and client personnel


  • Working in plant and/or shop areas around production machinery with extreme noise levels


  • Must be able to wear safety equipment as required by the safety department for personal protection


  • May be at more than one job site in a day and must be able to tolerate climate changes


  • May be required to travel out of town on a periodic basis



Physical Requirements



  • Ability to lift and carry75 pounds


  • Sufficient clarity of speech and hearing or other communication capabilities, with or without reasonable accommodation, which permits employee to communicate effectively


  • Sufficient manual dexterity with or without reasonable accommodation, which permit the employee to perform routine office duties


  • Sufficient personal mobility and physical reflexes, with or without reasonable accommodations to perform office duties and travel when necessary to off-site locations
