What is the opportunity?

As the West Coast Investment Banking (IB) liaison, you will be responsible for educating our Private Client Group (PCG), specifically the West and Mountain South divisions, on our Investment Banking Solutions capabilities. You will be the primary contact for Financial Advisors (FAs) IB needs and for CNB Bankers IB solution with our third party IB platform. You will help grow the IB Solutions footprint in West and Mountain South Divisions.

What will you do?

  • Educate FAs on Investment Banking Solutions capabilities and help generate referrals (20%)
  • Assist Complex Directors with recruitment efforts (20%)
  • Travel to branches to educate and engage FAs and participate in events and meetings with FAs and clients (15%)
  • Maintain proper statistics about the business on a periodic basis (5%)
  • Engage Global Investment Banking (GIB) Bankers and third-party Bankers to vet opportunities (10%)
  • Conduct client calls with FAs and bankers as needed (20%)
  • Follow-up with Bankers on the progress of the transaction and ensure referral payment is processed on a timely basis. (10%)

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

  • Ability for overnight travel 20% of the time
  • 10+ years' experience Investment Banking
  • Comfortable presenting to large groups and excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to work under minimal supervision with little to no instruction on complex tasks and projects

Nice-to-have

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
  • Ability to build strong relationships, exercise influence, and can uncover motivations to drive performance
  • Prior experience working with Business Owners on a cumulative capacity

The good-faith expected salary range for the above position is $110,000 - $190,000, depending on factors including but not limited to the candidate's experience, skills, registration status; market conditions; and business needs. This salary range does not include other elements of total compensation, including a discretionary bonus and benefits such as a 401(k) program with company-matching contributions; health, dental, vision, life and disability insurance; and paid time-off plan.
