Job Overview Meramec Instrument Transformer is seeking a Training Specialist to join the team! The Training Specialist will develop, implement and maintain a comprehensive employee training program for all employees including , new employee onboarding, on-the-job-training (OJT), safety and machine specific training, lean and 5S training, while fostering a culture of safety and support, and driving operational excellence. #LI-BB2 A Day In The Life Manage the day-to-day operations of the site's training program. Plan, create, and coordinate training schedules for all assigned operations and departments, verify effectiveness of training, and maintain all training records. Develop / Maintain training documents, instructions, processes. Train new hires on company policies and procedures and use the best training methods for a specific purpose or audience. Work with departmental managers to identify training needs and create new curriculum Gather and evaluate information from employees and management on previous training to identify weaknesses and areas that need additional training. Recommend training materials and methods for improved engagement and effectiveness. Work safely and encourage safe working behaviors, Prioritizing safety in all aspects of training. Work with the team to increase depth of organizational knowledge and improve efficiency. Must be flexible, innovative and self- motivated. Other duties as assigned such as but not limited to operational improvement process. What will help you thrive in this role? Over 2 years' experience in developing and delivering training programs. Bachelor's degree preferred. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Word, & Outlook) Clear, energetic, and engaging presentation with strong communication skills Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems quickly. Ability to work with a team or independently and be a self-starter. Strong communication skills, written and verbal.
