As a Powertrain NVH Developer (Engineer), responsibilities Include:



  • Lead the Noise & Vibration Attribute Development of all New BEV, HEV, and ICE Propulsion Systems
  • Set Noise and Vibration targets for new systems
  • Execute detailed root cause analysis testing for new Powertrain Technologies
  • Publish clear concise conclusions, recommendations, and next steps to close gaps to target
  • Publish Globally Harmonized Laboratory Procedures documenting best practices
  • Socialize corrective actions to close gaps to target into Vehicle hardware and software

Basic Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related degree field
  • 2 or more years of vehicle development and/or NVH engineering experience
  • Experience in developing new Propulsion Systems to meet noise and vibration goals
  • Experience using test techniques including sound and vibration measurements
  • Knowledge of Vehicle and Propulsion System Operation
  • Understanding of digital signal processing and sound/vibration quality metrics
  • Knowledgeable in CAD, CATIA, INCA, and/or Teamcenter
  • Working knowledge of NVH analysis Software (e.g. LMS, Head Acoustics, B&K)
  • Must be organized, motivated, adept with engineering practices
  • Strong interpersonal skills and able to collaborate effectively with other team members


Preferred Qualifications:



  • Master of Science degree in Engineering
  • Electrified Vehicle Knowledge / Design / Development / Calibration experience
