The Kellogg Executive MBA (EMBA) program is a world leader in executive business education, designed for working professionals from all over the world who earn their MBA on weekends over a period of two years. Our distinctive, rigorous general management curriculum is delivered across campuses in Evanston, IL, Miami, FL, and 5 global partner schools in Canada, China, Germany, Hong Kong, and Israel (Kellogg Global Network). Students come to Kellogg to develop new frameworks for solving tough business problems while broadening their global network and creating lifelong connections.
Reporting to the Associate Director, EMBA Global Operations, the Program Coordinator is responsible for providing day-to-day oversight for academic standing and compliance for four EMBA cohorts throughout the academic calendar. Key responsibilities include supporting both academic affairs and the student experience for a world-class academic experience for EMBA students and faculty.
This role requires availability for two weekends per month, as well as some evenings. Occasional domestic and international travel as needed.
Specific Responsibilities:
Administration
- Manages day-to-day academic operations of an assigned portfolio of courses in EMBA.
- Ensures that the EMBA mission, values, guidelines, policies & procedures are implemented and maintained for an assigned portfolio of courses.
- Compiles and analyzes data and prepares reports by gathering student data from various databases to ensure degree requirements are met for each student.
- Acts as the liaison between EMBA administration, facilities, and faculty to IT to ensure technology systems support cohort needs by problem-solving any issues that occur.
Faculty Support - Academic Affairs
- Serves as the first point of contact for EMBA faculty teaching in the EMBA program.
- Works with Academic Affairs and Course Support to ensure that all books and course materials are available to students on campus and in the learning management system.
- Monitor course registration and enrollments.
Student Experience Support & Events
- Advises students regarding admissions, academic, career and development matters including but not limited to, counseling students on alternatives for course requirements.
- Completes logistical details such as scheduling, registration, enrollment, audits, etc, including but not limited to overseeing student orientation and graduation.
- Ensures event details including communication, venues, presenters, travel arrangements, materials, refreshments and technology are arranged and completed in an appropriate and timely manner.
- Coordinates programming, including compiling, distributing, and tracking all communications such as weekly schedule emails, timely announcements, event RSVPs, surveys, onboarding, electives, and graduation.
Evaluation
- Observes program sessions and interacts with cohorts for purpose of gaining insights, growing and strengthening courses, and optimizing client satisfaction to ensure the delivery of a world-class educational experience.
- Coordinates the collection, analysis & reporting of required information for surveys, review documents, etc.
Miscellaneous

Minimum Qualifications: (Education, experience, and any other certifications or clearances)
- Successful completion of a full 4-year course of study in an accredited college or university leading to a bachelor's or higher degree; OR appropriate combination of education and experience.
- 1 year program/project administration or other relevant experience.
Minimum Competencies: (Skills, knowledge, and abilities.)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Knowledge of systems, web and internet.
- Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint).
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills including the ability to work with students, faculty, and staff at all levels individually and as part of a collaborative team.
- Professional demeanor including tact and discretion.
- Understanding of academic culture and higher education program management.
Preferred Qualifications: (Education and experience)
- 2-3 years of experience in higher education administration.
- Customer service-oriented experience.
Target hiring range for this position will be $53,000 - $60,000 per year. Offered salary will be determined by the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
