A Brief Overview

Coordinate all aspects of Pediatric Urology Special Programs for a compassionate, personalized experience for patients and families.

What You Will Do



  • Serve as the lead support resource to patients/families throughout the patient's treatment.
  • Provide navigation services for patients including coordinating patient consultations, follow-up or treatment appointments, surgeries or other procedures
  • Collaborate with the Marketing Team to develop and update educational materials, brochures, website content, patient testimonials, program highlights and news. Monitor the program's social media presence, responding to patient inquiries, and sharing updates on upcoming webinars or events.
  • Assist in designing an outreach plan to introduce the program to prospective patients and families.
  • Schedule and organize introductory webinars to educate patients and families on program benefits and services.
  • Establish protocols for patient travel coordination, including guidance on visas, accommodations, and transportation.
  • Develop comprehensive welcome packets, covering program information, travel details, and hospital navigation tips.
  • Work with the international office to create a streamlined process for managing overseas inquiries and patient needs. Develop and maintain guides and/or FAQ documents on common international patient concerns, including travel and insurance support.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key Division, Department, Hospital and System personnel.
  • Create and maintain a basic insurance resource guide for families, covering common insurance concerns and providing tips on navigating coverage.
  • Coordinate education sessions and webinars; Serve as a speaker or facilitator at events and conferences to promote the program and share patient success stories.
  • Regularly gather feedback from patients and families to assess the program's strengths and areas for improvement. Participate in monthly team meetings to discuss patient experiences, share feedback insights, and recommend process improvements.

  • Must abide by all requirements to safely and securely maintain Protected Health Information (PHI) for our patients. Annual training, the UH Code of Conduct and UH policies and procedures are in place to address appropriate use of PHI in the workplace.
