Supplier Quality Intern

Ideal candidates will assist, and support Supplier Quality Engineering activities under the guidance of the Supplier Quality Engineering team.

Supplier Quality intern will support the Supplier Quality team's open projects. Major supplier quality projects that needs full support:

1. Global PPAP smart sheet process - Continuous improvement activities.
2. Development of the Charge back standardization process.
3. Global Supplier Quality Incident Smart sheet process development.
4. Nuclear related Activities for Hays Plant. Annual Nuclear Survey data collection and communication with Suppliers.
5. Other Process Map and documentation development as needed.

To perform this job successfully, an individual must have curiosity toward technical aspects of mechanical and electrical components as well as to lean-manufacturing approach. Initiative-taking approach towards problem-solving and PPAP activities related to the Quality Department.

PROJECTS
Participate in Supplier quality project applying continuous improvement tools, PPAP and Quality tools to work on process Improvement with suppliers under supervision of the Supplier Quality Engineering team.

EDUCATION
Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical engineering, Supply chain or similar engineering disciplines.

REQUIRED SKILLS
1. Good skill in Smart sheet, Power Bi, MS Excel and other MS office tools,
2. Understanding on the Quality tools,
3. Good Communication and writing skills,
4. Good analytical thinking and data driven mentality.
