Compensation & Benefits:



  • Estimated Starting Salary Range for Project Manager $105,000-$108,000
  • Pay commensurate with experience.
  • Full time benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, and other possible benefits as provided. Benefits are subject to change with or without notice.



Project Manager - Site Lead Responsibilities Include:



  • Executes and refines program initiatives to meet organizational goals.
  • Develops and refines the scope of the program in response to evolving organizational and community context.
  • Supports program initiatives with other key data.
  • Face and voice to the media, immediate community, community leaders at all government levels.
  • Plans the program from start to completion involving deadlines, milestones and processes.
  • Develops, manage, track and report operational budget for the program.
  • Meets with stakeholders to discuss program status and goals.
  • Devises evaluation strategies to monitor performance and determine the need for improvements.
  • Supervises project /site managers involved to provide feedback and resolve complex problems.
  • Discovers ways to enhance efficiency and productivity of procedures and people.
  • Applies change, risk and resource management principles when needed.
  • Ensures program operations and activities adhere to legal guidelines and internal policies.
  • Keeps senior management informed with detailed and accurate reports or presentations.
  • Hires, trains and is a motivating mentor to staff.
  • Creates and nurtures effective communication within the organization.
  • Builds strong team through open communication and by collaborating on decision-making responsibilities.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned



Project Manager - Site Lead Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested:



  • Bachelor's degree and 5-8 years related experience with government funded programs.
  • Strong supervisory and leadership skills required to manage a staff.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate with a wide range of individuals in a diverse community.
  • Excellent communication and time management skills and strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to problem solve and drive results. Moves quickly, is adaptable and thrives in ambiguity.
  • Ability to present technical information clearly and concisely at a level appropriate to the target audience.
  • Bilingual preferred.
  • PMP certification preferred.
  • Ability to pass a drug screen and background check is required.
  • Ability to pass a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
  • Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal
