The internship program at Volkswagen Group of America Chattanooga Operations is intended to provide college / university students and recent graduates the opportunity to use and develop skills they have learned in the classroom by working at our state-of-the-art production facility, and to provide Volkswagen Chattanooga the opportunity to develop talent for potential future entry-level positions.

Summary

The Pilot Hall Launch Coordination Internwill gain hands-on experience in budget balancing, project management, and the launch of new models. The role will provide exposure to the coordination of launch activities, budget tracking, and build issue management.This position will start on June 2nd 2025 and end on Aug 8th 2025.Our internships are full-time positions (40 hours/week). Candidates will be expected to be available to work during normal business hours (Monday - Friday; exact hours will vary by position and some positions might require work on Saturdays).

To be eligible for the internship program, candidates are required to be enrolled at an accredited post-secondary educational institution or have graduated from one within 6 months prior to the start date of the internship. At this time, we are unable to consider OPT/CPT/International candidates

Responsibilities

* Develop processes for coordinating and creating launch budget estimates.

* Manage and track build issues throughout the pilot phase.

* Assist in the preparation and analysis of project data related to the pilot launch.

Qualifications

* A degree in Automotive or Industrial Technology is preferred.

* Proficiency in Excel for tracking and coordinating funds, as well as managing the scope of builds.

* Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and effective communication

What Technology or Technical Data will the Intern have access to?

* Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

* Access to project management and tracking tools as required.
