Financial Analyst - Warehouse Operations Top Skill Sets Required: Experience with Cost Management and Analytics Invoice Reconciling Experience Position Description We are seeking a qualified candidate for a Financial Analyst - Warehouse Operations. This role will be responsible for Warehouse Operations cost management and analytics. Responsibilities Analyze, verify, and dispute financial data/invoices, and present material in a professional manner. Track, measure, report, and support Internal Management (Warehouse, Contracting, and Finance) and external service providers (3PLs) regarding all aspects of cost management and analytics. Develop, implement, and maintain accounting and administrative policies and procedures related to cost management of warehouse operations. Communicate with the vendors to collect invoices and necessary backups, reconcile issues, and pay them timely and fairly. Prepare cost analysis on warehouse operations and logistics costs for use within warehouse management. Improve financial status by analyzing results, monitoring variances, and identifying trends. Participate in annual budget planning and cost-saving activities in corporation with each unit part team. Issue Risk Management and support ad-hoc reports as directed by the management. Create supporting material, analytics, and presentations for management reviews and meetings. Requirements This position requires a strong analytical background with the ability to analyze, verify, dispute financial data/invoices, and present material in a professional manner. Demonstrated success in collaborating with cross-functional teams to analyze problems, gather information, generate options, and drive action. Accustomed to working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and can work under time pressures. Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Finance, and Operations Management with 7+ years of relevant experience. Knowledge of key supply chain/logistics processes and current best practices. Strong analytical skills with the ability to develop and create original analyses. Strong interpersonal and consensus-building skills. Previous experience using SAP WMS is desired. Strong skills in the Microsoft Office Suite, focused on Excel and PowerPoint are desired.
