MARKETING AND COMMUNICATIONS CO-OP

IMPACT and OPPORTUNITY

The Marketing and Corporate Co-op will play an important role in supporting the development and execution of internal, external and digital communications that support our organizational goals and enhance our reputation. This individual will work closely with marketing and HR teams to create and manage communications that engage both internal and external audiences. The ideal candidate is outgoing, organized, and detail-oriented with a passion for storytelling and a knack for managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Help manage and schedule social media posts across various platforms.
  • Support content creation and storytelling for internal and external channels.
  • Assist with creating and distributing internal communication materials, including newsletters and announcements.
  • Collaborate with team members to maintain the company intranet with up-to-date content and resources.
  • Research industry trends and best practices for digital and internal communication strategies.
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions for campaigns and employee engagement activities.
  • Monitor and report on social media engagement and internal communication effectiveness.
  • Support the development and execution of communication strategies for key company initiatives.

QUALIFICATIONS

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:



  • Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms such as LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook.
  • Basic understanding of digital marketing and content creation.
  • Experience with graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Creative thinker with an interest in storytelling and brand communication.
  • Previous co-op experience is preferred.
