Overview

Join our Lake Ridge Bank team as the Retail Product Manager! The Retail Product Manager will play a pivotal role in shaping the retail banking experience by developing and managing products and services that enhance client satisfaction, drive revenue growth, and align with the bank's goals. This position will collaborate with departments to ensure seamless product implementation, training and execution. This role will also focus on driving innovation and excellence in digital banking solutions.
The home office is flexible based out one of our Lake Ridge Bank communities.


Responsibilities

Customer-Centric Product Development:

    Research and understand client needs through surveys, market research, and competitor analysis.
  • Develop solutions that align with the bank's mission and solve specific client challenges.
  • Assess opportunities for developing new products or enhancing existing ones, ensuring each has a clear purpose and target market.

Digital Strategy and System Integration:

  • Drive the development and enhancement of digital banking products, ensuring seamless integration with core systems.
  • Oversee the creation and management of retail-related website content, ensuring accuracy, relevance, and alignment with the bank's brand.
  • Collaborate with Marketing to develop retail content for social media platforms, enhancing client engagement and outreach.
  • Monitor and maintain the accuracy of retail content on the website, conducting regular reviews and updates.
  • Collaborate with vendors to select and implement products that align with the bank's systems and goals, conducting due diligence as part of the Vendor Management Program.
  • Partner with the Marketing team to identify and implement tools for gathering client data, leveraging insights for targeted marketing promotions and system adoption.

Product Performance and Lifecycle Management:

  • Monitor the lifecycle of products, recommending updates, enhancements, or discontinuation as necessary.
  • Analyze costs, ROI, and overall profitability of each product, reporting findings and recommendations to leadership and the Marketing Committee.
  • Review and maintain the Retail Banking Incentive program for success, improvements and make updates as needed to ensure the program is effective.

Marketing, Training and Communication:

  • Ensure product branding aligns with the bank's overall brand strategy.
  • Partner with Marketing to create and update promotional campaigns.
  • Work with the Retail Training team to ensure comprehensive training on product features, implementation, and client support.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with product users regarding updates, enhancements, or changes.
  • Collect and act on client and associate feedback to refine product offerings.

Collaboration:

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to align product initiatives with overall bank goals.
  • Foster strong relationships between internal teams and external partners.

Community and Organizational Engagement

  • Represent the bank at community events and in organizations to enhance visibility and foster relationships.
  • Actively participate in leadership meetings, strategic planning sessions, and cross-departmental initiatives.

Other Responsibilities

  • Continually develop knowledge, skills and abilities thorough internal and external training programs
  • Complete all annual security and compliance training as required.
  • Maintain confidentiality of client information at all times.
  • Actively participate in bank and department meetings.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned or requested.


Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field and minimum of 5-7 years work experience in retail banking, sales or similar environment.
* Proven experience in product management, preferably within the financial services industry.
* Strong knowledge of digital banking platforms and technologies.
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
* Analytical mindset with experience in profitability analysis and ROI reporting.
* Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional projects.
* Proven concern for quality of work, guidelines, processes, etc.
* Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to be able to interact and communicate with a diverse group of clients.
* Ability to exercise independent judgment and work with little to no supervision
* Demonstrated ability to represent the organization in a professional, positive manner
* Good accounting skills with the ability to work precisely with numbers and financial calculations
* Capability to maintain confidentiality of client information
* Ability to put forth the extra effort necessary to make the office a successful operation including the willingness to work additional hours (evenings and weekends), attend outside educational programs, seminars, etc.
* Ability to speak, read, write and understand English clearly

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
* Advanced degree or certification in banking or finance (e.g., MBA, CBA).
* Familiarity with banking systems and digital tools to optimize team performance.
