Crayola Supervisor

PURPOSE:

To provide support and work direction to Crayola Experience team members while ensuring an outstanding experience to all guests internal and external.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

• Provide leadership to Crayola Experience team members
• Train, develop and direct staff to consistently place safety and service at the forefront of job duties
• Responsible for ordering and maintaining attraction supply levels based on set budget
• Maintain training and certification records including updates to training material as needed
• Manage, develop, and motivate team members for increased sales and operational efficiency while ensuring that all employees are complying with company policies and procedures
• Provide feedback to team members and resolve team member performance concerns

• Oversee scheduling of team members and team leaders for maximum efficiency and cost effectiveness
• Manages daily operation and staffing to provide best guest experience
• Approve timecards and maintain time records
• Emphasize guest service by responding to guests in person, via email, phone or letter about questions, concerns or issues in a timely and professional manner
• Assists guests in the purchasing of attraction tickets, merchandise, and food products
• Operate a computerized POS system in an efficient and timely manner
• Monitor reports on guest attendance, attractions sales merchandise sales, food sales and expenses
• Serve as on-duty supervisor in charge of the Crayola Experience operation
• Maintain overall safety and cleanliness for work area
• May provide direction/support in other work areas such as needed
• Performs other duties as assigned

PREFERRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES:

• High school diploma or equivalent

• 3+ years previous experience in retail or guest service position
• Experience with point of sale systems
• Ability to multi-task in a fast paced, rapidly changing environment
• Ability to make quick decisions and changes for the enhancement of floor display, guest service, safety and productivity
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Previous leadership, payroll and training experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, primarily Outlook, Word, Excel
• Experience in performance management to include constructive feedback, corrective action, performance reviews
