Systems Administrator IV

We are seeking an experience System Administrator IV to join our team located at the Naval Research Lab, Washington DC.

Key Responsibilities:

• Technical Support: Diagnose and resolve diverse IT issues across desktops, networks, and telecommunications.
• System Management: Configure, manage, and maintain Microsoft and Linux operating systems.
• Security: Implement and manage security protocols to ensure compliance and data integrity.
• Collaboration: Work with the IT team to resolved escalated issues and provide user guidance.
• User Support: Deliver training and documentation to help employees use IT systems and tools effectively.

Required Qualifications:

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related IT field (equivalent education considered).
• 8-10 years of experience in IT support roles (equivalent experience considered).
• Proven experience managing and configuring:
  • Microsoft 365 GCC High, SharePoint Online, and Exchange
  • Active Directory, Group Policy, Entra ID, and Intune
  • Linux operating systems (e.g., Red Hat, Ubuntu)
  • Red Hat Satellite Server
  • Security+ Certification
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multi-task.
• U.S. Citizenship and eligibility for a DoD Top Secret Security Clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Cisco routers and switches.
• Current Microsoft or CompTIA certifications (e.g., Azure, Windows Server, A+, Network+, Security+).
