The opportunity

Southern New Hampshire University (SNHU) is hiring a Coordinator for Student Records within the Office of The University Registrar. This is a remote position and you will report to the Sr. Assistant Registrar. You will contribute to the efficient operation of the Student Records and Conferral Teams, which are responsible for student records up to the completion of the program. You will focus on ensuring the accuracy, reporting, and integrity of student enrollment records and transcripts in compliance with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) of 1974 . You will use available tools, university systems and policies by:

  • Providing customer service while serving on the "front lines" of the main Registrar telephone line as a periodic "Go to Person" (G2P).
  • Managing assigned commencement responsibilities.
  • Being a resource for our team members.

What you'll do:

  • Provide support to the team with processing and data entry tasks related to: enrollment verification, scholastic standing, biographical changes, grade changes, withdrawals and transcript requests.
  • Serve as the subject matter resource in all areas of records that include but are not limited to: transcript processing, grade policy and procedures, FERPA compliance, National Student Clearinghouse reporting and FERPA compliance.
  • Adhere to the record retention and destruction policy of permanently archived files/documents in records management systems as outlined in SNHU's Academic Record Retention Policy.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned. Job duties and responsibilities can change at any time.

What we're looking for:

  • Associate's degree from an accredited college or university, or 3+ years of experience in lieu of degree.

Compensation

The hourly pay range for this position is $16.94 - $27.11. Actual offer will be based on skills, qualifications, experience and internal equity, in addition to relevant business considerations. We expect this position to be hired in the following target hiring range $18.72 - $25.32.
