HF Programs are seeking a competent Project Manager to undertake a variety of administrative and program management tasks, who will have the opportunity to impact our process, providing actionable and meaningful information, increase the business acumen, and help navigate the organization through change. This role will be instrumental in the success of multiple projects, as a key member of the program management team. PRIMARY FUNCTION

To provide project management leadership for specified new product development.


Responsibilities

  • Coordinates with stakeholders in the products under development (product management, engineering, manufacturing, customer support) as product moves through all phases from concept to production.
  • Monitors project schedule and cost by studying project plan and specifications; calculating time requirements; sequencing project elements.
  • Identifies and recommends solutions to problems that may impact project cost, schedule or product specific objectives.
  • Maintains project schedule by monitoring project progress; coordinating activities; resolving problems.
  • Assists Sr Program Manager in reviewing project costs
  • Prepares project status reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends; recommending actions
  • Maintains safe and clean working environment by adhering to procedures, rules, and regulations
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
  • Assists in creating PMR slides for upcoming PMRs & tracks Cost Status Reports
  • Ability to input invoices and deliverables to the Wide Area Workflow
  • Tracks and maintains contracts and their period of performance
  • Alerts Senior Program Manager or deputy when contracts are in need of attention (i.e. updated, increase cost or period of performance.)
  • Backup liaison to the DCMA for getting deliverables to the customer

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of Project and Team Management; Process Improvement; Strong personal project management skills
  • US Citizenship, per customer requirements
  • Active DoD issued Secret Clearance
  • PMP preferred
