As a Shop Assembler, you will be responsible for inspecting, repairing and reassembling returned capacitors and coil assemblies.


Responsibilities

Responsibilities includes but are not limited to:
*Perform detailed repairs and rework on mechanical components according to specified guidelines.
*Inspect returned capacitors and coils for defects and damage.
*Assemble and reassemble parts, ensuring proper fit and functionality.
*Maintain accurate records of repairs and replacements performed.
*Assist with inventory management of parts and materials as needed.
*Collaborate with leads and supervisors to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
*Perform soldering of components with precision.
*Inspect finished products for quality assurance and adherence to specifications.
*Assist in designing, fabricating, and assembling custom fixtures.

Other duties and responsibilities:
*Will be required to cross-train as back-up in other areas of the manufacturing plant.
*Other job-related duties as may be necessary to carry out the responsibilities of this position.


Qualifications

A minimum of two years of assembly experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Must be able to
*Ability to read and interpret technical drawing
*Effective communication skills to interact with co-workers and Supervisors
*Strong attention to detail and ability to problem solve
*Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
*Previous experience in mechanical assembly or repairs preferred.
