Developer- Springboot Microservices Java Fullstack

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Developer with 5 to 7 years of experience in Springboot Microservices Java Fullstack Java REST Web API Java 11 and Core Java. The ideal candidate will work in a hybrid model during day shifts and will not require travel. Experience in Cards & Payments or Asset & Wealth Management is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain high-quality software solutions using Springboot Microservices Java Fullstack Java REST Web API Java 11 and Core Java.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define design and ship new features.
• Ensure the performance quality and responsiveness of applications.
• Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
• Help maintain code quality organization and automation.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
• Work closely with product managers and designers to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Implement and maintain continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure the application remains current and competitive.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.
• Contribute to the overall architecture and design of the application.
• Ensure compliance with project standards and best practices.
• Document technical specifications and project-related documentation.

Qualifications

• Possess strong experience in Springboot Microservices Java Fullstack Java REST Web API Java 11 and Core Java.
• Demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
• Have experience in Cards & Payments or Asset & Wealth Management is a plus.
• Show proficiency in using development tools and version control systems.
• Exhibit strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Display a proactive attitude towards learning new technologies and improving existing skills.

Certifications Required

Oracle Certified Professional Java SE 11 Developer

Salary and Other Compensation:

Applications will be accepted until 2/25/2025.

The annual salary for this position is between $80,000 - $100,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
