The Operations Manager is responsible for assisting in the development and maintenance of operational engagement with IMA Retail and IMA Partners. This includes project management of integrations and system conversions, creating detailed engagement plans, facilitating and tracking the overall engagement experience, and assisting in the onboarding and training of new partners on IMA's resources, workflows, and systems.

This role is also responsible for assisting in the implementation and monitoring of continuous improvement projects to ensure an efficient and effective operating model for IMA Retail. This responsibility includes the valuation, testing, and roll-out of new technology solutions to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness. This role partners with Retail Training, Retail Operations, and Partnership Engagement to achieve department objectives.

A successful candidate will have strong business acumen, problem solving and analytical skills, be effective at building relationships and communicating, possess technical aptitude, and adaptability.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: include but are not limited to:



  • Support and demonstrate IMA's core values and understand the importance of diversity, equity, and inclusion
  • Identify and document end-to-end engagement needs for new and existing partners
  • Assist in planning, coordination, and execution of integration strategies for newly acquired entities
  • Build integration plan templates and create repeatable processes
  • Perform project management tasks, including initiating, planning, managing, and executing implementation tasks and deliverables for partners
  • Prepare communications and documents to implement processes and structures with new partners
  • Develop, track, and report on business KPIs and provide recommendations for modifications to the partnership engagement processes as needed
  • Work closely with relevant business areas to build and execute engagement plans
  • Participate in projects and evaluate and implement workflows to ensure maximum operational efficiency
  • Look for opportunities to consistently improve workflow, efficiency, technology, and delivery of client services
  • Develop good working relationships with IMA Retail management and associates and solicit continual feedback on operational and workflow efficiencies and effectiveness of current initiatives and procedures
  • Evaluate, test, and implement new technology solutions: Identify technology needs, conduct thorough evaluations, perform testing, and manage the rollout of new technology solutions to improve business operations
  • Training and support: as needed, provide training and support to team members on new technology solutions and workflows to ensure smooth adoption and integration


REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:



  • 4+ years of similar or related experience required
  • Bachelor's degree in business, operations, or a related field required
  • Excellent strategic, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
  • Process-driven and highly organized
  • Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multitask operations/projects and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Good organizational and planning skills
  • Excellent skills in management and execution of complex business integrations
  • High level of integrity and strict adherence to protecting confidential information
  • Experience with MS Office products (specifically PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, and Excel)
  • Experience with Applied Epic, CSR24, and knowledge of the insurance industry are strongly preferred
  • Experience with Technology Evaluation and Implementation: Proven experience in evaluating, testing, and implementing new technology solutions to enhance business operations
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong technical skills and familiarity with various technology solutions and tools relevant to the role

Salary Range
$68,000 $102,000 USD
