Job Summary

The Forklift Trainer will conduct regular forklift certification classes for our local field associates and customers and play a hands-on role in our industry-leading service delivery and safety program. In addition to prior forklift training/certification experience, this interactive role requires strong coaching, customer service, and communication skills.

Your Role & Responsibilities

• Leading regular forklift trainer classes for our field employee workforce at our local office and at customer sites.
• Coaching, evaluating, and developing the skills of class participants.
• Traveling between our branch office and local customer sites as needed.
• Fostering an environment of teamwork and cooperation and a culture of workplace safety.
• Personifying our organization at the client work site; demonstrating the company's and the area's core values, operating principles, and service differentiators.

Preferred Education & Experience

• High school diploma or at least 3 years of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse environment
• Proof of current or prior forklift certification
• Experience operating a Cherry Picker, Electric Pallet Jack and Reach Truck.
