Job Summary |
Auburn Athletics Facilities & Operations is seeking individuals to assist with daily operations within our department! We maintain various areas within our athletic facilities, including but not limited to, gameday support for sporting events, various facility projects, as well as maintenance of competition fields and practice fields. We also maintain adjoining landscape for the Auburn University Athletic Department.
Temporary Employment Services (
TES), a unit of the Auburn University Department of Human Resources, is an in-house support center established to meet the temporary employment needs of the university.
TES provides qualified and dedicated temporary employees in a wide variety of occupations to meet the staffing needs throughout the campus. Temporary employees are hired for a variety of reasons with the most common being:
- Assistance in the place of a regular employee who is absent for a specified period of time
- Additional assistance during periods of abnormal or peak workloads
- Assistance with special projects
- Seasonal work
- Emergencies

Essential Functions |
- Assists with Pre & Post facility set-up
- Assists with facility projects
- Assists with quality control for various facilities
- Provide gameday support for sporting events
- Provide assistance to full-time staff members in performing maintenance of all competition fields, practice fields, and other areas as assigned by supervisor
*This is a summer 2025 position |
Minimum Qualifications |
Expectations:
- Ability to work irregular hours, nights, weekends
- Ability to perform physical labor and ability to lift minimum of 50 pounds
- Ability to operate utility vehicles, including but not limited to, lawn/turf equipment
