Who we are looking for:

We are currently looking for a Pricing Analyst to be based out of Greater Chicago Area, IL. Reporting to Director of Pricing, East Region, this person will be responsible for pricing 7+ product lines for a specific region. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in pricing or inside sales.

What you'll do:



  • Pricing 7+ product lines to support an RSC sales region.
  • Manage quotations in Saleforce (CPQ) and will be the single point of contact for group of agents.
  • One face to our agents or customers with complete market intelligence.
  • Establish standard work and documentation.
  • Utilization of advanced analytics to execute sales and margin plans by product lines.


What you'll bring:



  • Pricing or inside sales experience.
  • Be able to negotiate and offer complete basket of products (right mix of products) to achieve One Atkore goal.
  • Understands the balance between Pricing, Volume, Mix of products and Profitability.
  • Experience with JDE and Salesforce is a plus.
  • Bachelors degree is preferred.


Within 3 months, you'll:



  • Complete your Atkore immersion program
  • Complete product line and competitor landscape training program
  • Understand how your job will help deliver Atkore's strategy.
  • Gain an understanding of data and tools.


    Within 6 months, you'll:



    • Partnering with Business units to get an understanding of how each product line pricing works.
    • Deep dive doing quotations for all product lines for specific region.
    • Working with product line pricing teams to receive weekly guidelines on pricing.
    • Be able to maintain pricing in Saleforce (CPQ).


    Within 12 months, you'll:



    • Expert Pricer for your specific region with complete market intelligence.
    • Complete understanding of competition for each product line.
    • Be able to balance between price, volume and profitability.
    • Establish standard work and documentation.


    As of the date of this posting, a good faith estimate of the current pay for this position is $64,800 - $89,100. Placement in the range depends on several factors including, but not limited to, specific competencies, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, relevant experience, skills, seniority, performance, shift, travel requirements, and business or organizational needs and may change over time. Other compensation may include, but not limited to, overtime, shift differentials, bonuses, commissions, stock, and other incentives.
