Purpose:

TheTalent Management Specialist will be both strategic and hands-on with the ability to manage all facets of Talent Management and HR Administration with the primary goal to deliver an exceptional employee experience built on smooth, efficient management and administration practices. You will be responsible for a broad range of HR and Talent objectives, including, but not limited to, Talent Management, Talent Engagement, Employee Relations, and Talent Acquisition.

The Talent Management Specialist ensures that human resource programs support the goals of the organization. This position oversees a range of administrative functions related to, employee development, employee experience, and employee relations.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Support the timelines, communication, and implementation of talent management processes including performance management, talent review, and succession planning. Provide support to employees on the process and tools. Complete the testing for Workday configuration as needed in addition to constructing employee Job Aids. Run Workday reports, track and report progress of each process, complete analysis and needed follow-up.
  • Support the design and implementation of employee and leadership development programs. Assist with learning program design, presentations, and communications. Manage learning programs including scheduling, set-up, communications, outreach, and attendance tracking.
  • Manage the design and implementation of engagement strategies including survey design, launch, and analysis
  • Support diversity efforts related to talent management and professional development.
  • Research, analyze data, and prepare quarterly reports on HR trends, new HR project suggestions, and current program goals and progress.
  • Recommend improvements to HR Department processes and procedures to ensure efficiency.
  • As needed, may assist with full-lifecycle recruitment including but not limited to: resume review for open positions, conduct phone screens, source candidates from various channels.
  • Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with HR policies, procedures, and employment law requirements.
  • Ad hoc responsibilities, as needed.

Skills/Knowledge:

  • Bachelor's degree with an emphasis in human resources management or business, or equivalent work experience, strongly preferred.
  • Minimum of three years of human resources experience, with exposure to HR compliance, and HRIS maintenance is preferred.
  • Full understanding of HR functions and best practices is highly desired.
  • Must have excellent Microsoft Office skills, particularly PowerPoint, Word, and Excel. Ability to design presentations, spreadsheets and use graphics is helpful.
  • Knowledge of Human Resources Information Systems, ensuring data integrity and reporting, is highly preferred.
  • Must be able to effectively communicate with staff at all levels, as well as with outside vendors.
  • Interpersonal skills with a high level of diplomacy and confidentiality are essential.
  • Must be a conceptual thinker with excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Must be able to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining meticulous attention to detail.
  • Must have strong analytical skills and the ability to manage sensitive employee data with confidentiality.
  • Advanced presentation skills.
  • Ability to work effectively within a group or individually.
  • Exceptional time management skills.

SALARY RANGE: $115K - $125K
