Project Manager - Diesel Engine Solutions

We are seeking a Project Manager - Diesel Engine Solutions to support our defense and government segment, working closely with the U.S. Navy, U.S. Coast Guard, and maritime organizations. The ideal candidate will be a structured, results-driven professional who can navigate complex technical sales and project execution, ensuring mission-critical diesel engine solutions are delivered on time and to specification.

About the Role:

In this position, you will:

  • Own the project lifecycle, from technical consultation to execution, ensuring on-time and high-quality delivery.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in the Navy, Coast Guard, and maritime industry.
  • Analyze customer needs and provide tailored diesel engine solutions that meet operational requirements.
  • Collaborate with engineering and technical teams to deliver solutions aligned with client specifications.
  • Prepare proposals and offer technical support throughout the sales and purchasing process.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity to refine sales and service strategies.
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences.
  • Achieve sales targets and drive revenue growth for the business.

What You Bring:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Marine Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
  • Experience: 5-10 years in technical support, sales, or engineering related to diesel engines or marine propulsion systems.
  • Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of diesel engine systems and applications.
  • Military & Government Experience: Experience working with the Navy, Coast Guard, or other military branches is highly desirable.
  • Technical Proficiency: Ability to interpret technical documents, schematics, and industry regulations.
  • Communication & Leadership: Strong presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Adaptability & Problem-Solving: Ability to think quickly, manage shifting priorities, and solve complex issues.
  • Travel Flexibility: Up to 50% travel to meet clients and attend industry events.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Salary Range: $110,000 - $130,000 per year (based on experience and qualifications).
  • Bonus: Eligible for an annual incentive bonus.
  • Location: Pacific Power Group, Kent, WA (Relocation available).
