Job Title: Communication Specialist/ Proofreader/ Copy Editor (HYBRID) Pay Rate: $43.81/hr. on w2 without benefits Location: 500 James Robertson Pkwy, Davy Crockett Tower Nashville, Tennessee 37243 Duration: 2+ Years (With possibility of extension) Hours/week: 37.5 Hrs per weeks Job Description: Freelance Proofreader/Copy Editor needed for Tennessee State Parks and The Tennessee Conservationist magazine. Every two months, proofread and copy edit the 44-page magazine in InDesign for spelling, grammar, punctuation, and AP style. Proofread various marketing materials on an as-needed basis. These will include brochures, flyers, menus, trail maps, and other promotional/informational materials. Required Skills: Adobe Photoshop. AP style. InDesign. Proofreading. Adobe Acrobat. Microsoft Office. Adobe Illustrator. Preferred Skills: Fluent in Spanish.
