We are looking for a curious student who is interested in learning more about the corporate FP&A function within a rapidly scaling, publicly traded company. Our next Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Intern will gain experience in developing financial models, data consolidation, and reporting among other projects and initiatives. The Capstone Project will be focused around the question "How can PowerBI and clean data storytelling help to align disparate systems and regional businesses?"

This is a hybrid position, with 1-day/week on-site in our King of Prussia, PA location.

You must be able to commit to a 40 hour work week Monday through Friday. Hours can be flexible based on coursework.

What You Will Work On During This Internship

• Consolidate enterprise data from disparate systems for unified reporting and analysis related to cultivation, manufacturing, distribution, and retail transactions
• Develop financial models and reporting dashboards to provide analysis and insights into business decisions, key performance indicators and the ROI of key investments
• Identify opportunities to improve internal processes, present insights, and recommendations to key stakeholders
• Provide technology or reporting solutions to drive efficiency
• Assist in driving project work from end to end to support strategic decisions within the business. This includes the collection of data, creation of model/analysis of trends, and support identification of key issues and turning this into a management level presentation.
• Other ad hoc tasks and initiatives as assigned

Requirements:

• Must be currently attending an accredited college or university and working towards a bachelor's degree in business administration with a focus in finance, accounting, data analytics, computer science, or similar tracks.
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must have current U.S. work authorization

Ideal Qualifications:

• Prior internship and/or work experience within data modeling and/or visualization is preferred, but not required
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.)
• Strong experience within Microsoft Excel preferred
• Task and project-oriented
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Positive attitude with an eagerness and willingness to learn
• Ability to listen, understand, and be able to convey and concisely explain ideas
• Time management and prioritization skills
• Excellent writing and verbal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
