About the Role

In the role of Material Handler, you primarily are responsible for ensuring a quality product is shipped out to the customer. You will engage with team members from all aspects of the business and outside carriers. Professional communications between customers, carriers and inside Customers is a must. Problem solving, attention to detail, and flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment are critical in this role.

Your Key Responsibilities

Plan and coordinate physical movement of materials, parts, finished goods and information to ensure optimization of cost and service level.

Issues and delivers correct materials to production floor, keeps track of inventory, and ships and receives material to ensure proper flow
Utilizes hand trucks, forklifts, hoists, or other handling equipment to move material to and from locations and transportation vehicles within the facility.
Loads and unloads material within a warehouse or storage facility

Ability to troubleshooting processes, equipment, and product.
Demonstrates capabilities in material management, materials requirement planning (MRP), pull systems, flow, and the implementation of LEAN concepts

Required Qualifications

High attention to detail, follow and attention to customer service

Desired Qualifications

Excellent customer service, interpersonal, organization and communication skills
The ability to implement solutions within designated area of responsibility
Ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods
Ability to lift a maximum of 20 pounds
Ability to use a pallet jack
Ability for driving forklift
